Left off we had added our wooden crown.
Practice making your upcoming face sheets out of paper.
The top 2 pics in this are all paper.
There are 7 sheets/layers.
the nose piece is the first, and there are 3 layers, mirrored on each side.
2 will curve down to the mouth on either side, so pratice and get familiar! Layer your paper mock-up on top to see of your templates correspond.
Make your actual layers out of the fiber-glass sheeting.
Stich on, and leave the string long for the next layers.
If you can, foam behind this layer also for security. This is your base skull.
Epoxy is also a great tool at this point, it sets up quick, and it better than many glues.
After clearing off excessive foam and getting your layers set, start the Bondo process.
BONDO is a very easy to get car-dent filler.
It's a liquid go, when a hardener is added, sets up ROCK HARD very quick, and sculpts like a dream.
EYE PROTECTION, VENTILATIONS, GLOVES, ETC, are amust, it's a smelly and disguting chemical when liquid.
Apply to nose and foirst layer. APPLY WAY TOO MUCH!
It's scuplts away easy enough, and you can always make more if you carve away too much.
