Hey, you know, I have never drawn many caricatures. None really. It's fun. Lots of fun, and I am really happy with myself. I actually sketched this one out in a matter of minutes, from my memory! It's the main Strangers from thee fantastic movie 'Dark City'. Do yourself a favor and see it.
Left to right, the ever stoic and intimidating and somewhat bored Mr. Wall, Mr Hand all giddy over his new found emotions, and Mr. Sleep, annoyed.
I was thinking of adding in Mr. Quick (Poor poor Mr. Quick...) or Mr rain, but they don't stick out as much and these three are generally a good enough team.
Yeah, sure, it is not great, but I think I got each characters basic feel down, and I did this so quick. Graphite pencil, which is a fun medium for this. It was just a quick sketch I did before I went to bed, but I had so much fun, I'd appreciate feedback or ideas so I could do this more often.
I know! The first time I watched it, I had nightmares of Mr. Hand chattering! The Strangers are just the coolest creepy villains ever! I mean, they are just like nightmares! I had just seen Rocky Horror the first time I saw DC, and didn't connect Riff-Raff and Mr. Hand. Duh! And did you recognize Mr. Wall is the Gyro-Captain from Road Warrior? (My 2 most favorite actors!) It's probably my MOST favourite movie, and there has been a re-release I wanna get for my my birfday.
WOOOAH NO WAY! omg he is!!! damn, i wish i had thought of that when i lived in pittsburgh; there was an action figure of him in eide's comics that i would have totally snagged for you!

Robin: "If we close our eyes, we can't see anything." Batman: "A sound observation, Robin."
Dooh, you are the SECOND person this week who remarked that they saw a Captain action figure and thought of me!
Yeah, he's one of my favorite actors. I didn't realize he was in Dark City I saw it, I was just too creeped out my Mr. Wall and Mr. Hand! He also played the Mouth of Sauron.
