I have new monitors, and they are not 100% adjusted, so I will not tweak this piece right now.
I promise to do what I have planned, and tone and clean it up some, but right now, I think the scan is worthy enough to put up.

The Godess of Crickets.
It started as a joke between my sister and I, we misheard the Hearts of Space radio announcer saying something about a Steven roach album that had 'Gongs and Crickets'...
We both said "Whhat? Did he say, Godess with Crickets?Cool!'
So, I took the joke a step further.
There are little crickets in there.
I used the most gorgeous stock of :iconladydove7-stock: , specifically- [link]

Please don't beat me if I get part of teh gown wrong or the lamp is the wrong era.
Just a fanciful piece.
And sorry about the splotchy background, I will fix that.

Wow - Inki that's beautiful :D I especially love the colours of the Kimono :D Sorry - I can't really think of anything to say other than it is fantastic! Or fantastax as my crazy typo said... that can be a new word ;p

It reminds me of the movie 'Mulan' mainly because of the Chinaness and the Cricketness ;p hahaha

Aww, thanks! I did not realize later that I probably should have made the lamp a cricket-cage, because 'Mulan' popped into my head. Well, then those are a bunch of lucky crickets! :D But I am happy with it, and loved doing the designs and colors.
