Ursa, our Pyrenees, had a litter of 11 pure-bred puppies.
Yes, it was a planned litter, and all the ones we are selling have already been vetted out to capable families and working farms.
One of the most personable females followed us outside and decided to join her mom in the snow.
(So, yes, we've called the whole thing Ursa Major and her little Ursa minors)
Snow.
Pyrenees.
Like peanut butter and jelly.

ELEVEN!!!! that must have been one Pregenant dog. The most excited I've ever seen my pyr is the time it snowed (it doesn't do that much where I live)

She had 13, but her labor was so long the last 2 were still born. Still, she could hardly walk for a time, and had to be carried by several people up and down stairs. >>
